HiDrive Share: Secure file sharing from IONOS

IONOS has launched HiDrive Share, a free file sharing service for transferring large files. File sharing services in the cloud offer the fastest and most practical way to share large files such as images, videos and documents with colleagues, friends and family.

Free service – no registration required

Via share.hidrive.com, users can upload files with a total size of up to 2 GB. A link is created which can be shared via email or chat. The link is valid for seven days, then deleted automatically. HiDrive Share users don’t need to be IONOS customers, and no authentication or registration is required for the new service. In addition, IONOS HiDrive Share can be used on any operating system with any standard web browser from any device. 

Risk-free image and data exchange

The uploaded files are transmitted exclusively in encrypted form and are stored in IONOS’ ISO 270001 certified, highly secure European data centres in accordance with strict privacy standards. This means they are subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), providing a high level of protection against access by unauthorised third parties. 

HiDrive is a collaborative online storage service. Users who need more storage space or want to store files for longer than a week can upgrade to HiDrive cloud storage for up to 2 TB of online storage.
