Once your web project has been submitted to search engines, the placement in the search results depends on many different factors of the individual search engine providers such as Google and Bing. The time it takes for a page to be found also depends on the provider.

Good to know for search engine entry
- With many search engines, it can take some time for a website to be listed. Search engines receive an average of thousands of entries per day, so it can take longer to register.
- The ranking of a website, i.e. how high it appears in search results, depends entirely on the content of your site. Use tools such as IONOS rankingCoach to provide the relevant information required for effective search engine placement.
- It is up to the search engines to decide when and how to rank your website. The more information your website provides to the search engines, the better its ranking will be and the better the chances that it will be listed.
