Activate and edit the MyWebsite online business card

Valid for MyWebsite.

Activate the Online Business Card before you make extensive changes to your website. Your visitors will then only see your Online Business Card. This allows you to design your website in the background and add content. You can customise your Online Business Card.

Effects of the Online Business Card on your website

  • As long as your Online Business Card is activated, your visitors will see the Online Business Card.

  • You can still view and customise the content of your website in edit mode.

  • You can switch between the current status of your website and the current visitor view at any time using the preview in the toolbar.
  • Your website will not be found by search engines. The search engine ranking can be influenced by your Online Business Card.
  • Your Online Business Card will be displayed on all pages that are synchronised with Facebook.

Activate Online Business Card

  • Log in to your MyWebsite account.

  • Click on Settings in the main menu.

  • In the Set password protection and visibility area, click on Online Business Card.

  • Set the slider to Online Business Card.
    You can use the toolbar to switch between your Online Business Card and your website at any time.

Edit your Online Business Card

You can customise your Online Business Card, for example with your contact information, your own background image, and a map of your location.

You have the following options:

  • Display contact information: Select the desired contact information by moving the slider to the right.
  • Change background image: Click on an image from our recommendations.
  • Upload background image: Click on UPLOAD IMAGE and select an image from your computer.
  • Upload logo: Click on UPLOAD LOGO and select an image from your computer.
  • Enter customised welcome text: Click on AVAILABLE SOON and enter the text you want.

Apply your customisations by clicking on Save.
