In this article you will learn how to manage the delivery (shipping) methods of your online shop.

Manage delivery methods

In the menu, select Settings > Delivery. An overview of the delivery methods you have set up appears. You have the following options for managing the delivery methods:

  • Add delivery method: You can find out how to add a new delivery method in a separate section of this article.
  • Change visibility: Select the desired delivery methods in the overview. Then click on Visibility and select whether these delivery methods should be visible in your online shop. Delivery methods that are not visible are marked with the eye symbol in the overview.
    Tip: Only make delivery methods visible once you have set them up completely.
  • Delete delivery methods: Select the relevant delivery methods in the overview. Then click on Delete and confirm the deletion.
  • Edit delivery methods: Click on the desired delivery method in the Delivery method column. You can find out how to set up a delivery method in a separate section of this article.
  • Preset delivery method: Use the Preset column to specify which delivery method is preset (activated) by default when ordering in your online shop.
  • Sort delivery methods: Use the Sorting column to specify the order in which the delivery methods are displayed when an order is placed in your online shop.

Add delivery methods

  • In the menu, select Settings > Delivery . All shipping methods that have already been added are displayed.
  • Click on Add. The Add delivery method window appears.
  • Decide on a logistics provider:
    User-defined shipping method: To not process the shipment via a specific logistics provider.
    DHL: To process the shipment via the logistics provider DHL. If you select the logistics provider DHL, you can create prepaid parcel labels in your MyShop, for example.
  • Select the type of delivery method:
    Free delivery: For free shipping or self-collection
    Fixed price: For constant shipping prices
    Exemption limit: To offer your customers free shipping from a certain order value
    Shopping cart total: For an order value-dependent shipping price
    Weight of the products in the shopping cart: For a weight-dependent shipping price
    Number of products in the shopping cart: For a shipping price depending on the number of products
  • In the Name in shop field, enter the name under which the delivery method should be displayed in your online shop.
  • Click on Add.

Set up delivery methods

After you add the delivery method, you can configure it's usage.

Tip: Only make delivery methods visible once you have set them up completely.

  • Select Settings > Delivery  in the menu.
  • In the Delivery method column, click on the corresponding shipping method.
  • Set up the following in the General area:
    Internal identifier: Enter the name under which the delivery method should be saved in your MyShop administration. This identifier is not visible in the online shop.
    Visible: Select whether the delivery method should be displayed in your online shop.
    Preset: Select whether the delivery method should be preset by default during the order process.
    Name in shop: Enter the name under which the delivery method should be displayed in your online shop.
    Logo: Upload a logo for the delivery method, e.g. the logo of the logistics provider. Then specify whether the logo should be displayed during the order process.

    Note: You can also enter a remark on the delivery method. This remark is also displayed when the customer orders from your online shop.
  • Click on Save.
  • Set up details for the shipping method in the Settings area. Please note: The Settings section does not exist for the Free delivery method without the logistics provider DHL, as no further details need to be specified here.
  • Click on Save.
