Valid for MyWebsite Now.

You can use pages to structure your MyWebsite Now project. This article explains how to add, manage and organise pages and, if required, subpages.

You will find all the functions for your pages in the Pages section of your MyWebsite Now editor.

Change page name

The page name determines how your page is named in the navigation. It should briefly and precisely reflect the purpose of the page.

  • In the Pages > Website structure area, select the page you want to edit.
  • Click in the Page name field and enter the desired name.
  • To save the change, click with the mouse outside the text field.

Add page

To add further pages to your website, proceed as follows:

  • Click on Add in the Pages > Website structure area.
  • Enter the desired page name.
  • Click on Add.

To fill your new page with content, click on Content in the main menu and add the desired sections.

Copy page

To create an exact copy of a page including all content, carry out the following steps:

  • In the Pages > Website structure area, select the page to be copied.
  • Click on Duplicate.
  • Enter the desired page name for the new page.
  • Click on Duplicate.

Hide or show page

A hidden page is not displayed in the navigation. However, you can still edit it and make it accessible via a link from other pages.

  • Select the desired page in the Pages > Website structure area.
  • Activate / deactivate the Hide from navigation function in the page settings to hide the page for navigation, or to display a hidden page again.

Reorganise pages

To change the order of the pages in the navigation on your website, simply click on the pages to be moved in the Pages > Website structure area and drag them to the desired position.

Create and manage subpages

Please note the following points when working with subpages:

  • A maximum of one sub-level is possible.
  • No subpages can be created under the automatically created system pages Home (start page), Blog, and Shop. These system pages cannot become subpages either.
  • Subpages count towards an existing tariff page limit.

To place a subpage, create a page as described in the Add page section in this help article or select an existing page. Hold down the left mouse button and move the page in the Pages > Website structure column over the future main page. Release the mouse button.

The position of a subpage can be changed at any time by moving it with the left mouse button held down and thus becoming a main page, for example. Pay attention to the storage markers in the page structure as you move the page.

Search engine optimisation (SEO)

Give your pages short, meaningful SEO titles and describe the purpose of the page in the SEO description to make your website more attractive to search engines.

  • Click on the desired page in the Pages > Website structure area.
  • Update the SEO Title and SEO Description fields with the desired information.
