Adding apps to your Online Shop

Valid for online shops that were ordered by 2017.

You can use apps to extend the functions and services of your Online Shop. This article explains how to select and add apps.

Third-party apps may be subject to a charge. Details are displayed in the app store of your Online Shop.

Log in to your IONOS account.
In the title bar, click on Menu > Websites & shops.
Optional: Select the desired website.
Click on Manage Online Shop .
In the main menu, select Apps & Themes > App Store. All apps that can be added are displayed.
Move the mouse over the desired app and click on Learn more.
Copy the code snippet of the respective app to add it to your Online Shop:
- Free apps: Click on Install and follow the instructions.
- Paid apps: Click on Open. You will be redirected to the website of the app provider. Follow the instructions there to purchase the app.
To integrate the app into your shop, select Settings > General settings >Advanced settings in the main menu.
Insert the code snippet in the HTML head area field.
Click on Save.

The app is added to your Online Shop. Check the function and correct display of the app on your website.
