Removing a public IPv6 address from a Windows Server

For VPS, Cloud Server, migrated Cloud Servers and Dedicated Server with the operating systems Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and Microsoft Windows Server 2022.

To remove an additional public IPv6 address from a Windows server:

Requirements

  • You have unassigned the additional public IPv6 address in the Cloud Panel.

  • You have logged in to the server.

  • Open the Control Panel.

  • Click Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.

  • Right-click the network adapter.

  • Click Properties.

  • Double-click Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP / IPv6).

  • Activate the Obtain an IPv6 address automatically option.

  • Click OK.

  • Confirm the open dialogs with OK.

The additional public IPv6 address will be removed.
