Managing Users in Managed Nextcloud
Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.
The Managed Nextcloud is designed as a productivity platform for use by multiple users. This article explains how to manage your users.
Requirement
You are logged on to your Managed Nextcloud installation as an administrator.

Create groups
Groups simplify the administration of multiple Managed Nextcloud users. Instead of granting users specific authorizations individually, you assign the users to a group, e.g. to represent a department or a project team. You then grant the permissions once for this group. For more information on sharing objects, see the article Working with Files in the Managed Nextcloud.

- Log in to your Managed Nextcloud.
- In the top menu bar, click the circle icon with your profile photo or the first letter of your username to open the submenu.
- Select Users. The user overview opens.
- Click Add Group.
- Enter a group name.
- Confirm the entry by clicking on the arrow symbol.
