Pause Campaign in Google Ads Management Service

Valid for IONOS Google Ads Management Service

You can pause your campaign at Google Ads Management Service. This article explains how to do this.

Pause campaign

  • Log in to your IONOS account account.
  • In the title bar, select Menu > Online Marketing > Google Ads Management Service: Open > Campaign settings .
  • Click on Change settings on the Campaign settings tile.
  • Deactivate the Status slider.
  • Click on the Apply settings button to save your entry.

To reactivate it, simply move the slider again.

Details on the Google Ads Management Service pause

  • Pauses are only possible for full contract months.

  • The pause must be entered 3 to 5 days before the start of the contract month, otherwise the change will not take effect until the next contract month.

  • The monthly costs also apply during a pause.

  • Pausing the campaign has no effect on the minimum contract term.
