Click & Build: Installing Applications

For Web Hosting packages

With Click & Build, you can quickly and easily install popular open-source web applications on your web hosting package. In this article, we will guide you through the installation right in your IONOS account. We will also show you how to log in to the administration area (backend) of the application after installation. There you can then set up your application according to how you need it.

The following applications can be installed through Click & Build:

Installing an Application

• You will see an overview of the available applications. To continue, click on Install in the tile of the desired application.
  
  The Set up new web project page is displayed.
• Name the project: Enter a name for your project and click  Next.
• Create administrator: Enter a user name and password and click Next.
• Select domain: Select the domain you want to connect your application to from the list. As soon as the installation is complete, your application (e.g. a website) will be accessible under this domain.
  
  Optional: If you have not yet registered a domain with us, you can also use a system domain. As soon as you register a domain or move to us, you can subsequently connect your WordPress website to this domain.
• To start the installation, click on the installation button.

From now on, everything runs automatically: Our Click & Build system uploads the necessary program files to your web space and also takes care of setting up the database. As soon as the installation is complete, you will receive an email to your contact email address.
