You can move emails in Microsoft Outlook at any time to keep your email accounts more organized. This makes it easier to find emails from certain people or about certain subjects or projects.
- Highlight the email or emails you want to move.
- Click on the Move drop-down menu, and select the folder where you would like to move the message. If the folder is not displayed in the menu, simply click Other Folder..., and then find the correct folder.
Please Note
In most email programs, including Outlook, you can also move emails using the Drag & Drop method. Simply select the desired emails and drag them into the appropriate folder by holding down the left mouse button.
