Spam
Spam is an unwanted email, such as an unsolicited advertising email, the content of which you are not interested in and/or the sender of which you do not know.
In the best case scenario, spam can simply be annoying if, for example, a company sends masses of advertising emails. In the worst case, they are sent by Internet fraudsters and contain virus-infected email attachments or links to fake or fraudulent websites.
If you open an infected attachment, you run the risk of downloading malware such as viruses and Trojans onto your computer, while links to fake websites tempt you to enter your personal data, including address and account details.
For these reasons, you should never open attachments of emails whose sender you do not know and never click on the included links.
Delete these spam emails immediately or mark them as spam, which will help block the sender from sending more in the future.
