Domain Owner (Reg-C)
The domain owner (the registrant) is known as the Reg-C. This person is responsible for the registered domain.
According to the registries' guidelines, domain roles are assigned to domain registrants whose details can be viewed publicly via the domain contact field in a WHOIS search, which includes their name and address, unless the registrant optionally chooses to keep their registration information private.
The name of a company can also be entered as an alternative to the individual's name.
