Connect Your Domain to a Blog on WordPress.com

Bring your blog on WordPress.com together with your IONOS domain with just a few clicks.
Simply follow these steps:
Log in to WordPress.com.
Click on My website in the upper menu bar.
In the navigation bar on the left, in the Domains area, click Add.
Under Domains, click Use domain that belongs to me.
Click Assign Domain.
Enter the IONOS domain you want and click Add.
Click Finish.
In the Domains > Domains pane, select the domain you added.
Click on Connect your domain.
Click Configure your domain settings.
Log in to IONOS.
Click Connect.
Your blog at WordPress.com will now connect to your IONOS domain.
Please Note
If you can't automatically connect your blog to your IONOS domain at WordPress.com, please check your ###COMPANY_NAME###domain's DNS settings. Make sure that a CNAME record is created with the hostname and the value _domainconnect.1and1.com.
